HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I USE

When Brewing Coffee in the Micro Café Brewer?

When brewing with the Vinci Micro Café Brewer, the amount of water you use varies depending on your K-Cup choice. For a prefilled K-Cup, it's ideal to use 10 to 12 ounces of water, as it typically contains just 1.5 tablespoons of coffee grounds.

The Large-Capacity Filter Cup can hold up to 4 tablespoons of coffee grounds and allows you to brew up to 20 ounces, offering more flexibility for those who enjoy larger servings.

With either option, you can experiment with the amount of water. With the Large Capacity Filter Cup, you can also experiment with the amount of coffee grounds up to 4 tablespoons to tailor the strength and flavor to your specific taste preferences. It is also perfect for using your own favorite fresh ground blends.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Vinci Micro Café Brewer do?

The Vinci Micro Café Brewer is a compact, single-serve coffee maker that brews hot, flavorful coffee using either standard K-Cup® pods or the included large-capacity reusable filter cup. It can also boil water for tea, cocoa, or instant meals.

What makes the Vinci Micro Café Brewer different from other single-serve coffee makers?

It combines an ultra-compact footprint with an enclosed brewing system, hotter brewing, and patented Circle Flow Brewing Technology—delivering richer flavor and better temperature consistency than traditional pour-through brewers.

Who is the Vinci Micro Café Brewer best for?

It’s ideal for small kitchens, apartments, dorm rooms, offices, RVs, or travel—anywhere space is limited but great coffee still matters.

Is the Vinci Micro Café Brewer compatible with K-Cup® pods?

Yes. It works with standard pre-filled K-Cup® capsules using the included K-Cup® adapter.

Can I use my own ground coffee instead of pods?

Yes. The brewer includes a reusable filter cup that lets you brew your own ground coffee and make larger cups or carafe-style servings.

What should I never do with the Vinci Micro Café Brewer?

Never operate the brewer without water, never use espresso-fine grinds or loose grounds directly in the carafe, and never submerge the control lid or power base. Improper use can cause damage and void the warranty.

What is Circle Flow Brewing Technology?

Circle Flow Technology continuously circulates hot water through the coffee grounds instead of letting it pass through once. This improves extraction consistency and produces a richer, more evenly brewed cup.

What brew sizes does the Vinci Micro Café Brewer support?

With K-Cup® pods, you can brew 4–12 oz cups. With the reusable filter cup, you can brew up to 20 oz for a carafe-style serving.

What coffee grind should I use in the reusable filter cup?

Medium-grind coffee is recommended. Espresso-fine grinds should not be used because they can clog the filter and disrupt brewing.

How long does it take to brew a cup of coffee?

A typical brew cycle takes about 2½ minutes, depending on brew size and strength settings.

What does the Bold button do?

The Bold setting extends the brew cycle by about 35 seconds, producing a stronger, more intense cup of coffee.

Can I use the brewer just to boil water?

Yes. Setting the Control Knob to Boil heats water in the carafe to boiling temperature for tea, cocoa, or instant meals.
